Glossary — what the flags on this page mean

Plain-language explanations for the flags, badges and buttons on your team dashboard. Click a term to expand it.

Fees owing Fees owing

What it is: A hold you place on a player who owes your team money or equipment — for example an unreturned jersey or unpaid team dues. It is completely separate from the league registration payment (that's the “Payment” column).

What it does: While the flag is on, the league will refuse any transfer request for this player. They stay on your roster until you clear it.

Why it exists: CAMSL Rule 3.5: “A player may be refused a right of transfer if they … have outstanding fees or equipment owed to their original team.” Without this flag, a player who owes your team could simply transfer to a new club and you'd have no way to recover what's owed.

How to use it: Click “Flag fees” on the player's row. Add a short note (e.g. “jersey #7 not returned”) so everyone knows why. When the player settles up, click “Clear fees” — the hold is removed and they can be transferred again.

Payment (Paid / Unpaid)

What it is: Whether the player has paid their league registration fee to CAMSL. Players pay the league directly — you never collect registration money.

Eligibility

What it is: Whether the player is allowed to play in the next match under league rules — e.g. registered in time, not suspended, not over the call-up cap.

What it does: The referee's game sheet enforces this on game day. If a player shows as ineligible, check the reason shown in the column.

Captain #

What it is: Your captain depth chart. 1 = primary captain, 2 = alternate, 0 = not a captain. The referee sees the highest-ranked captain who is actually present at the match.

How to use it: Enter the number and click Save on the player's row.

Call-up

What it is: Borrowing a player from another team in your club for a single match (CASA 4(b)). A player can be called up at most 5 times per season.

Attestation (goal/assist claims)

What it is: A player's claim that they scored a goal or made an assist. You approve or reject these claims before they count in the standings.

What it does: Whether your approvals count directly is decided by the league admin, not your club. If your team isn't marked trusted by the league, your approvals go to the referee first — and if the referee denies one, you can escalate it to the league.
